How busy are you?
We can be busy, particularly on weekends and through summer. It pays to book in advance. We do have walk-ins every Monday and Thursday, but is limited to smaller work. Come in and see us at the shop, or give us a call on (09) 438 4002 to check availability.
How much do you charge?
Smaller work is quoted per design, while bigger pieces are priced per hour, or a day rate. Prices can vary depending on size, placement, detail colour etc. so it pays to come in and see us and get a quote. That way we can size it up and talk to you in person. Enquiries via email will be estimations only. To make a booking, either come and see us, or send us an email if you can't make it in.
Do I have to make an appointment?
Yes, it pays to make a booking. For bigger work or ongoing work, an appointment is necessary. We can do some smaller work (<2hrs) on walk-in days without an appointment. It is possible to get in last minute, depending on how busy we are. Come and see us, or give us a call on (09)438 4002 to check our availability.
What if I just want something small?
Our minimum is $80 - this is for smaller work under an hour. Smaller work is quoted by design, so contact us for more info. You can book in, or walk-in days are every Monday and Thursday for smaller tattoos, if you don't want to make an appointment.
What are walk-ins?
Walk-ins are days where you can walk in to the shop without an appointment and get tattooed. These are generally limited to smaller tattoos under 2 hours. Walk-ins are first in, first served. They are every Monday and Thursday, from 10 am through 5pm.
How do i book in?
Best thing to do is see us in person. It's always easier. We take a deposit for the booking; $40 for smaller work, $100+ for bigger pieces. If you can't make it in to the shop or you're from out of town, it is possible to make a booking via email , and pay a deposit via online banking. Keep in mind that prices can vary depending on size, placement, detail colour etc. so prices quoted over the internet are estimations only.
What if i change/cancel my appointment?
If any changes are made to your appointment within 48 hours of the appointment, you will lose your deposit. If you do need to change it, please give us more than 2 days notice.
All deposits are NON refundable!.
How do I look after my tattoo?
Remove wrap after a minimum of two hours, when you remove the wrap wash well with warm soapy water, repeat a few times for the first 24 hours and always pat dry with a clean towel. After 24 hours just shower normally but start applying after care cream recommended by your artist. Use sparingly and only when the tattoo is dry. Repeat 2/3 times a day until healed.
No swimming or soaking in water and keep out of the sun. Don’t pick or scratch your tattoo and keep it clean. Our artists will give you a full rundown on how to care for your tattoo after your sitting.
